* International Cooperation: 

Signed a bilateral agreement with Cameroon on transboundary ecosystem conservation and sustainable management of forestry and wildlife resources.

* National Park Security: 

Strengthened National Park Guards to combat banditry, poaching, and illegal logging.

* Data-Driven Agriculture: 

Launched the 50x2030 Initiative to improve agricultural data collection and promote evidence-based practices in Nigeria.

* Clean Cooking Policy: 

Developed a policy to encourage sustainable cooking practices in over 30 million Nigerian households.

* Afforestation and Reforestation: 

Supervised the production of 45 million tree seedlings for nationwide afforestation programs through the Great Green Wall initiative.

* Climate-Smart Agriculture: 

Fostered collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture to promote climate-smart agricultural practices.

* Sustainable Plastic Waste Management: Convened stakeholders to develop a framework for sustainable plastic waste management in Nigeria.

* Circular Economy Roadmap: 

Produced and unveiled the Nigerian Circular Economy Roadmap and established a dedicated inter-ministerial committee.

*Land Restoration: 

Signed a contract with the UN Food and Agricultural Organization to restore 350,000 hectares under the ACReSALNigeria Project to build community climate resilience.

* Ogoni Cleanup: 

Commissioned the Teraboo Water Scheme Project and launched the Ogoni Medical Outreach Program .

* Forest Restoration: Implemented the National Afforestation Program  through the Pan African Great Green Wall initiative, restoring over 1.5 million hectares of degraded forests and landscapes.

What He Is Working On:

* Lake Chad Recharge: 

Committing efforts to recharge Lake Chad to prevent catastrophic implications for the sub-Saharan region.

* Great Green Wall Expansion: 

Streamlining efforts to advance the Great Green Wall to halt the encroachment of the Sahara Desert.

* Clean Energy Objectives: 

Collaborating with the UK and EU governments to meet Nigeria's clean energy goals.

* Environmental Crime Justice: 

Working with UNODC to train lawyers and judges on environmental crimes and advocating for the establishment of an Environmental Tribunal.

* Coastal Management: 

Collaborating with coastal states and the World Bank to ensure proper management and development of Nigeria's coastlines.

* Flood Management: 

Streamlining the development and implementation of rain harvesting policies to turn flood crises into opportunities.
